For treatment of acute mastitis during lactation.	Indications
Mastikel NP contains 2 active components, namely the synergistic association of the antibiotics procaine penicillin G and neomycin which show antimicrobial activity against most important udder pathogens (Streptococcus agalactiae, Str. dysgalactiae. Str. uberis, staphylococcus aureus, Corynebacterium pyogenes, E.coli).	Mechanism of action
Do not use in animals known to be hypersensitive to one of the component.	Contraindications
Prior to treatment, milk out the udder thoroughly. Clean and disinfect teats. Thereafter injection the ointment in the teat of each infected quarter and by slight massage the ointment is rubbed in the udder. Treatment should be repeated at least three times with 12 h intervals.	Administration & dosage
